The Deanship of the Scientific Research Center was opened by a decision from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on August 21, 2024, after the University of Duhok presidency submitted a request to the ministry on January 15, 2024, to establish this center.

Our mission is to provide a robust framework for research capacity building, ensure effective resource utilisation, and foster partnerships with industry, academia, and government to generate solutions that benefit society and the environment.
