On Monday, February 24, 2025, the Scientific Research Center organized a scientific activity entitled "Raising Awareness and Knowledge about International Journals." At the beginning, the Deanship of the Scientific Research Center (Prof. Dr. Sherzad Sabri Ali) delivered the opening speech, welcomed the teachers and researchers, and thanked the four presenters who conducted seminars on scientific journals, where each of them discussed international journals from a particular perspective.

Each of the respected professors also discussed scientific journals in the following manner:

1. Ass. Prof. Dr. Nishwan Shawkat Mahmoud spoke about (The approach to publish in high ranking journals) and discussed how researchers can publish their scientific research in international global journals, referring to the rules and methods of publication, how to publish research in those journals, and how to obtain approval for our research.
2. Dr. Shaheen Abdullah Abdulkarim spoke about (Understanding Journal Indexing Systems: Form Impact Factors to Q1-Q4 Quartile), discussing what each of (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4)means in Scopus and Clarivate journals and talked about the quality of each, noting that Q1 is the best, and when a researcher publishes in such a journal, they will receive recognition from the university president.
3. Ass. Prof. Dr. Shvan Ahmed Mohammed spoke about (Maximizing the Visibility and Impact of Your Published Work). In this seminar, he discussed how to promote his published research and pointed to publishing summaries and results of his published research on various social media platforms so that relevant parties can benefit from them.
4. Ass. Prof. Dr. Burhan Abdullah Zaman spoke about (The Power of Intellectual Networks: International Collaboration in Publishing). He discussed how to achieve international collaboration in his research, emphasizing the formation of research groups with researchers from abroad, which makes research more comprehensive and, on the other hand, increases their impact.

At the end, the audience directed questions to the four respected Seminar Presenters, and answers were provided.
